Traditionally, ICT is a tough industry to enter. Telecommunications technicians typically require extensive on-the-job training. Fortunately, Multilink has made that process simpler and quicker with the introduction of our Mobile Interactive Lab.

The Lab, as we like to call it, can benefit your business in a number of different ways. It’s where our resident mad scientist Eugene develops and tests Multilink’s innovative products. It’s a state-of-the-art facility that travels across the country, stopping at trade shows or our customers’ locations.

So what exactly does The Lab do? Good question! The Lab is our hub for everything Multilink. First and foremost, it acts as a training space. Through our Corporate Alliance with SCTE, one of the most recognized ICT organizations in the world, we teach fully accredited courses pertaining to industry specific topics and products.

When our customers have a big project, our experienced Product Specialists can travel to their site and train them on installations, using The Lab as a hands-on classroom. For example, last month we went to industrial equipment supplier Georgia Underground & Supply, to offer training on how to set up our H IP Field Installable Connectors.

Without specialized knowledge about certain tools and equipment, it’s tough to understand exactly what products like a Field Installable Connector or a Fiber Optic Closure is, much less how they work or how they’re installed. Inside The Lab is a ClearTouch Smart Board, which aids in training by allowing users to connect with a specialist directly.

It could take an employer months to coordinate an unhelpful training session for a specific product through other means, but The Lab can be booked by anyone with ease. Just contact one of our sales representatives to learn how!

The Lab isn’t only a classroom. It contains Multilink’s entire family ofproducts, letting visitors and show attendees see some of our most popular items up close and personal. Our Product Specialists can answer any questions about the products and help visitors get quotes on potential orders.

Recently, we’ve started taking The Lab to trade shows to offer more convenient training and to educate folks about our products. Catch us at ISE Expo 2019 September 24-26 in Fort Worth, Texas and the SCTE Cable-Tec Expo from September 30 through October 3 in New Orleans.

If you’re planning on setting up a new network, The Lab also offers network planning and design, allowing you to configure your infrastructure using a fully functioning onboard internet connection. This is great because it reduces the completion time of your network build.

Our ClearTouch display also allows us to take Multilink anywhere in the country via video conferencing. No matter where customers are in the U.S., we will be able to work with them as if we were in the same room!
